Building Reaches Highest Point.

Community Centre Pieter & Pauwel, due to open in summer, has reached its highest point.

The images show the public presence in the otherwise residential street, and the central atrium through which all public functions can be accessed. The building presents itself as a large villa. A recess, a street side porch and large-scale window openings provide it with the necessary public character. The atrium thereby functions as a vertical square, mediating between street life and the intimacy of the interiors.
